Lockdown & Keeping Safe

I hope everyone is well and keeping safe, I do apologise for the lack of blog posts so far this year. We managed to move house right before lockdown which was very lucky indeed. We are now about an hour away from our old home in Berkshire and now live in South Northamptonshire, right on the border with Oxfordshire. The house is keeping us busy during lockdown and the dogs have settled very well into their new home here. They adore that we have a much bigger garden to explore and we have so many different beautiful walks to explore in our village.

We have been adhering to the lockdown guidelines and social distancing, but dog walks have always been a huge part of our daily routine and luckily it's very rare that we come across anyone. We have done our best to avoid routes with stiles and gates that need opening too, but it's not always possible. A lovely stream runs through part of the village and the dogs have loved going there to cool off on the warmer sunny days we have been having; all of our dogs are water mad, especially Dotty who's always first in! We also have lovely big meadows, fields and woodland to explore close by.

We, like many, are missing our loved ones desperately and cannot wait to catch up with family and friends again once it is safe to do so and lockdown has eased. What have you all been up to with your dogs during lockdown?

Stay safe everyone!
