The Extended Jackcamb Family

It really goes without saying, but our dogs are incredibly precious to us. Finding the right homes for our puppies is no easy feat so I feel we have been very lucky in the homes we have found for our puppies thus far and have made some great friendships - we love our extended Jackcamb family! We therefore thought that it's only right we include a page on our website all about the extended Jackcamb family so that we can share what the puppies are getting up to with their families.

Testimonial

We embarked on finding a breeder for a new puppy with trepidation as we were broken hearted having lost our last Jack Russell and we absolutely wanted to get it right.
It quickly became clear that there were many puppies for sale across many modes of advertising with varying prices accordingly. During the course of looking we saw some really sad images and worrying scenarios where the welfare of the dogs and puppies was clearly not as it should be. It was important to us that our new puppy should have the best start in life as we felt that this would translate into the character of the pup.
We then looked at the Champdogs and Kennel Club sites and immediately felt reassured by images of both parents of puppies and the important background information which we wanted. Our search took us to Jackcamb and we have never looked back. We were asked to make contact giving information about ourselves first, we then emailed at length and we had a FaceTime call before arranging to travel to visit.
We found gorgeous dogs, fantastic breeders and the most beautiful happy, perfectly cared for puppies and we loved them all. Seeing the puppies' parents and the puppies together gave us the reassurance which we craved, i.e. that we couldn’t choose better. The whole situation never once felt like a transaction but instead a caring, thorough, well planned transition of our new puppy, Casper, being prepared to come home with us. We received regular videos, lots of information, questions were always thoroughly answered and we quickly felt part of the Jackcamb puppy family.  On the day of collecting Casper, absolutely everything and more had been considered for us. We left with a huge puppy pack, a blanket with the scent of Casper's parents and siblings, lots of goodies, a book full of photos and information along with lots of tips, help and guidance.
This support continued when we arrived home when we had questions and queries. Jackcamb Jack Russell Terriers absolutely and completely care about the well-being of the puppies and a positive outcome with the new owners.
We are thrilled with Casper who is now approaching 2 years old and is happy, fun, sociable, friendly, loving, loyal, affectionate, everything we hoped for and more. He shares Mum Dotty’s appearance and playfulness along with Dad Barry’s faithfulness and adoration, a fabulous mix.
We love being part of the Jackcamb family, it’s brilliant being part of the Jackcamb Facebook Group and seeing photos of Casper’s siblings as well as Barry, Dotty and ‘Uncle Nigel’. We could not have wished for any better experience or outcome and any further Jackcamb owners will similarly be extremely fortunate owners.

Pupdate - Our Second Jackcamb Meet-Up 2023

IMG_0870.JPG

After the success of our first meet-up, we finally had our second Jackcamb meet-up and what fun we had! Now with two litters of puppies and their wonderful owners, all we needed was good weather! Thankfully the weather was on our side and after a lovely walk together around Melton Country Park in Leicestershire, we all enjoyed a giant picnic together and a good catch up. The dogs had great fun and also 'helped' with the picnic!

Thank you to all of the Jackcamb owners that managed to make our meet-up, we hope to arrange another meet-up for Summer 2025 to celebrate our current litters' first birthday - twenty pups, plus the grown up dogs, what fun it will be and we hope you can all make it.
